Who knew that William Tell was a bowler?

Evidence has been found that William Tell and his family were avid bowlers. However, all the Swiss league records were unfortunately destroyed in a fire, and we'll never know for whom the Tells bowled.

(The guy who wrote that pun entered it in a contest. It got into the top 10. As they read the list  of winners, he was really hoping his pun would win, but  unfortunately, no pun in ten did)
