Do I Need An Estate Plan?

Have you and your spouse paid off some of your home loan so that you now own a significant part of your home (for example, more than 20%)?

Do you have a significant amount of superannuation?

Do you want to protect your children’s inheritance from their creditors including perhaps their estranged spouse?

Do you have significant loans that would reduce the value of your estate and leave materially less for your family?

Do you have minor children?

Have you so far not appointed someone to look after both you and your financial affairs if you were disabled, temporarily or permanently?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any these questions you need to arrange some estate planning. And unless you know precisely when you’re going to die, you need to get your estate planning going NOW!
